Recognizing & Promoting Excellence in Psychology
new interns!
Sadie Hicks - Social Media Intern
"I joined Psi Chi to connect with fellow psychology students, promote the organization’s activities, and learn from mentors. Through this involvement, I hope to expand my professional network and gain valuable guidance and support.
I hope to form new friendships with other students who also have a passion for psychology. I also hope to deepen my knowledge of the psychological field and develop leadership and collaboration skills in order to prepare myself for future work and my career."
Elliot Ball-Dowling - Treasurer Intern
"I joined Psi Chi because I wanted to find a community of people who share a passion for Psychology. Through this experience, I hope to learn about some different ways I can be involved in psychology, gain experience working with other psych students, and make connections with new people."
Ashley Sosa-Rodriguez - Events Intern
"I joined Psi Chi to branch out and collaborate with my fellow peers and be a part of the diverse and connected community.
I’m excited to be able to have creative freedom to organize events for our school and hopefully build a strong community within psychology majors!"

Honors Panel
Psi Chi recently hosted an Honors Panel featuring Professor Hitti and Honors student Mot Dhanaprasidhikul. Mot, a fourth-year Psychology major who is part of the SEARCH and Athletic System Labs at USF, shared his experiences with the Honors concentration. The panel covered what the Psychology Honors concentration entails, the requirements to apply, and the resources available to students interested in conducting their own thesis projects. Attendees gained valuable insights and guidance from both Professor Hitti and current students!
