USFCA Organizations

The University of San Francisco has a variety of student-led organizations that cater to the interests of every Psychology Major. From our Future Clinicians Association, Women in Pre-med, Active Minds, etc., there are a multitude of options to choose from for those choosing the Psychology Major at USF for their future career.

Pre-Med Society

This organization was created to give female-identifying pre-medical students a community & sisterhood on campus. We strive to empower, unite, uplift, & celebrate future female physicians! We strive to foster passions for medicine, connect students, and help sisters achieve their medical goals!

Women in Psych

To create opportunities for social and academic success. Although a majority of our members identity as women, we aim  to promote individual growth through an inclusive environment. Women in Psych strives  to  support women in their academic track in Psychology, create  a non-threatining and non-exclusive community for Psychology majors or minors, and foster a safe environment  for discussions. Women in Psych will allow  its members to network and  learn study tools and resources.

Future Clinicians Associations

Future Clinicians Association (FCA) is a student organization created exclusively at the University of San Francisco (USFCA) with the purpose of providing students with further understanding of various clinical opportunities via mentorships, workshops, speakers, and events. FCA was created as a response to the desire for representation of the clinical psychology field and is intended for undergraduate Psychology major students who are interested in pursuing MFT, LCSW, and/or PsyD career paths. 

This group is specifically designed for Members/Alumni, so that they can network and support one another over the years!

USF Active Minds

Through education, research, advocacy, and a focus on underrepresented populations, "Active Minds opens up the conversation about mental health and creates lasting change in the way mental health is talked about, cared for, and valued in the United States. Active Minds strives to empower students to speak openly about mental health in order to educate others and encourage help-seeking.

Women in Pre-Law Society at USFCA

The Women in Pre-Law Society is designed to not only be a resource for young women who wish to pursue law specifically providing knowledge, LSAT prep, law school admissions, internships, networking but also to be a fun, and encourage one another. Here at the Women in Pre-Law Society, we aim to build power and community. We hope to unite a network of young women looking to change the world. Now is the time for us to come together.
